About our club
Our goal is to foster reading habits and promote healthy coexistence. A space to share ideas, analyze literary works and enjoy good company in Mexicali.
Dynamics and meetings
- We meet every two weeks, on Thursdays at 7:00 PM, at Snowtea UABC.
- At the end of each session, we democratically choose the next book.
- All communication and reminders are handled through our WhatsApp group.
Current Reading
We're reading "Arráncame la vida" by Ángeles Mastretta. The Mexican novel that has sold millions of copies since 1985 and been translated into eleven languages. In post-revolutionary Mexico of the 1930s and 40s, Catalina tells of her marriage to an ambitious general and her road from submission to freedom.
